THE PRINCIPAL BUILDER WAS SAMUEL SILLIMAN, A LOCALLY WELL-KNOWN MASTER CARVER. THE HOUSE BELONGED TO MEMBERS OF THE LOCALLY PROMINENT PRATT FAMILY FOR MANY YEARS
